Personal Assistant

Work Location: Perth based with Site Travel as required

Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk people.

Roster: 5:2 - Monday to Friday, with regular site travel.

As the Personal Assistant you will be responsible for providing quality administrative and organisational support, working in a busy and dynamic environment, you will also be required to manage competing priorities whilst positively interacting with a variety of key stakeholders.

Key accountabilities will include:

  • Provide professional, efficient, and confidential administrative support, including extensive diary management, travel logistics and visas.
  • Support the creation, preparation and distribution of emails, reports, technical documents, contacts, and presentations for internal and external use.
  • Optimise and automate processes and policies to support our operations and the wider business objectives.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports and presentations in collaboration with the Department Managers for the Board and the wider Leadership Team.
  • Coordinate internal and external planning days and various team functions throughout the calendar year.
  • Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new employees and contractors, including interview and medical bookings, security, and IT access. You will also assist with updating and maintaining Organisational charts, ensuring costs are allocated correctly.

 Qualifications and skills required:

  • Previous experience as Personal Assistant and/or extensive administrative experience supporting Senior Leader/s.
  • Excellent organisational skills and high attention to detail.
  • SAP experience and proficiency with MS Office suite.
  • Ability to work autonomously and be effective in managing competing deadlines ensuring tasks and requests are prioritised accordingly.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and proven ability to maintain confidentiality.
