Personal Assistant - Port and Rail

Work Location: Hedland Operations - Fortescue’s Hedland Operations are located on the traditional lands of the Kariyarra people.

Roster: 4D/3R FIFO Ex Perth or Residentially 

Supporting the  Port and Rail General Manager, this role is pivotal in providing professional, efficient and confidential administrative support that including diary management, travel logistics and organising meetings.

As the Personal Assistant you will be responsible for providing quality administrative and organisational support, working in a busy and dynamic environment. You will also be required to manage competing priorities whilst positively interacting with a variety of key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Working with the General Manager of our Port and Rail departments within the Northern Hub to coordinate and provide support to the Leadership team where required.
  • Building strong relationships and liaising with officials, internal and external senior level stakeholders.
  • Using your strong organisational skills and attention to detail to manage complex calendar, diary, and email management
  • Managing the GM's expense reporting
  • Preparing and revising documents including letters, reports, meeting minutes and presentations.
  • Planning, organising, and coordinating events, travel, meetings, and schedules.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Experience in a similar executive level support position within a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experience supporting a Leadership team highly desirable
  • Highly organised and pro-active approach
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a personable yet professional approach
  • Demonstrated experience dealing with highly confidential matters
  • Ability to work outside of core office hours as required
