We are seeking a Maintenance Planner to join our Amrun Fixed Plant Maintenance team, responsible for planning and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient and reliable execution of work.
This role plays a critical part in establishing maintenance priorities, developing detailed plans, and supporting the execution of maintenance work in line with operational requirements. You will work closely with operations, maintenance and planning teams to optimise asset performance, improve work management processes and drive continuous improvement.
Working in a dynamic operational environment, you will contribute to the full maintenance work management lifecycle — from identifying work through to planning, execution support and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Identifying and validating maintenance notifications and work requests to consolidate all known work requirements
- Participating in planning activities to ensure work can be executed safely, efficiently and in line with maintenance strategies
- Providing scheduling inputs to optimise asset performance, cost and efficiency
- Preparing maintenance work packs, ensuring all labour, materials and equipment are available for execution
- Supporting safe and effective execution of maintenance tasks through detailed planning and coordination
- Completing post-execution activities, including maintenance administration and CMMS data updates
- Collecting and analysing work management data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Driving continuous improvement across planning processes, systems and maintenance outcomes
About you
You are a detail-oriented and proactive planner with a strong understanding of maintenance processes and a passion for improving asset performance and reliability.
You will bring:
- Experience in maintenance planning or scheduling within a mining, industrial or heavy industry environment
- Strong understanding of maintenance work management processes and systems (e.g. CMMS such as SAP)
- Ability to develop detailed work plans, including labour, materials and equipment requirements
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- A commitment to safety and continuous improvement
