About the role

We are looking for a Planner Electrical Fixed Plant to develop and plan maintenance work ranging from 21 days to 2 years to ensure timely and effective decision making and planning of scope according to the integrated planning process.

Reporting to the Senior Planner and working in a collaborative community, you will be:

  • Provide planning support to Maintenance Supervisors, area planners and specialists to ensure schedule and commitments are met.
  • Carry out ongoing cost tracking and budget forecasting with tools provided. Adhere to budget, report and minimize out of budget expenses whenever possible.
  • Manage materials and services for work orders in the facility and teams.
  • Monitor tasks for statutory compliance, quality of work orders and cost estimates.
  • Review metrics/KPI’s and reports from business systems and identify improvements.
  • Identify and participate in continuous improvement activities.

What you’ll bring

  • A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team.
  • Electrical Trade certificate or diploma.
  • Experience with plant shutdown/turnaround activities, including planning, resource requirements, cost management, material reservations.
  • Proven experience in operational / production environment with an understanding of project management and project planning methods.
  • Experience with SAP desirable.
