We are looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Long-Term Planner to join our Rail Asset Strategy - Long Term Planning team in Central Park to help us excel at safely maintaining our Rail Network through effective development and support of Maintenance tactics, Work Management processes and Zero Based Budgets.

Reporting to the Superintendent of Rail Asset Strategy – Long Term Planning and working in a dynamic and exciting environment you will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining, developing and alignment of Primary Maintenance Tactics for Rail Assets
  • Supporting site teams with Work Management Processes
  • Develop Zero Based Budgets
  • Generating Primary maintenance forecasts

  • Proven Mining maintenance planning experience (Rail experience preferred but not essential)
  • Proven experience using SAP (ZBB transaction experience preferred)
  • Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel)
  • Exceptional communication & collaboration skills
  • Able to be proactive, flexible, and work independently
  • Highly organised individual
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills
  • Complex problem-solving skills and proven ability to deliver solutions
  • Current Australian C Class Driver’s License

The Rail Asset Strategy Long-Term Planning team based in Central Park forms an integral part of the Rail Engineering & Strategy Division providing guidance and governance to our Pilbara based Rail Network comprising of 220 Locomotives and 14,000 Wagons operating Autonomous Trains over 1,500km of Track.
