Macmahon currently has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Planner to join the Maintenance team at the Foxleigh coal project located near Middlemount in the Bowen Basin on a 5:2/4:3 DIDO roster.
This is a five-year contract which encompasses the provision of mobile plant & maintenance services, including the maintenance of client owned equipment
As the next Maintenance Planner, your responsibilities and accountabilities will revolve around managing the short to mid-term support with the team to meet both internal and external regulatory requirements.
Duties & Responsibilities
• Identify scope, work steps, resources and equipment required to achieve planned jobs
• Create the maintenance short term and long term plans and ensuring the plan is incorporated in the mine plan
• Management of the backlog and forward logs
• Consolidation of multiple jobs on the same equipment or system and proactive vs. reactive work available
• Maintain workshop records, equipment records and registers in accordance with the Macmahon Business System (MBS)
• Identify and implement improvement opportunities leading to safer workplaces, increased productivity and increased efficiencies
About you:
• 5-10 years-experience in a similar role in a large scale open-cut mining production environment
• Demonstrated experience with SAP
• Experience with Pulse highly regarded
• Excavator Shut Down planning experience highly regarded
• Ability to work independently as well as a part of the team
• Great interpersonal and communication skills
• Drive a safety-first workplace culture, which promotes a zero-harm work environment
• Current HR Class Drivers Licence
• CBM and S11
