About the role
We are looking for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples who are looking for an opportunity to join our Maintenance Planning and Scheduling – Transferable Pathways Program.
An assessment center will take place for this intake on the 18th March, in person, Perth CBD.
Bring your commitment to making sure you keep yourself and your colleagues safe, strong computer literacy and great ability to communicate and work with other people and we’ll connect you the best opportunity for you to succeed and progress your career.
You’ll start in a transition program that has been thoughtfully designed to support your move into mining. You’ll bring your skills to learning and development sessions that are focused on how a mining operation works, working safely on site and all the other technical aspects of the role. During the program you’ll shadow a peer on site and have a mentor who will coach and support you as you learn the industry.
The roles we are offering are initially Perth based with regular travel to site required during the training period. At the completion of the program you will be place into roles that could be aligned to a different roster. If you don’t currently live in Western Australia, we’ll provide full relocation so you can enjoy the incredible lifestyle.
About you
To be successfully considered for an opportunity, you will hold the below :
Strong computer / literacy skills – previous experience with complex computer systems
Post high school certification
Previous experience within a similar working environment – with transferrable skills
Mechanically minded
Intermediate / Advanced use of MS office suite
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Respect for others and an all-inclusive mindset
A C Class Manual Drivers licence
Attention to detail
Available to attend the Assessment Centre in Perth on the 18th March
