In support of our growing portfolio, we are seeking highly skilled and motivated Planning Coordinator to join our upcoming shutdown deployment in Port Hedland on a 5/2 4/3 roster. Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent you will be responsible for coordinating diverse and multi skilled teams in executing preventive and generalist fixed plant maintenance. You will be actively involved in BOS routines to deliver effective outcomes and improvements. As a candidate who enjoys working in a team of high safety and operational standards you will:
- Experience in shutdown and fixed plant maintenance across multiple disciplines
- Demonstrate critical thinking with attention to detail with the ability to meet multiple stakeholder deadlines.
- Provide expertise and guidance to planning and executional teams
- Review work plans balancing capacity and demand
- Forecasting labour and optimising weekly work
- Engage and influence multiple stakeholders
- Collaborate and build cross functional relationships
- Implement improvements opportunities through our BHP operating systems
- Be proficient in the use of maintenance systems (SAP)
- Take personal responsibility for achieving results.
About You
Your strong desire to work with your team to ensure they are safely delivering their best will see you well placed for success.
- Previous experience working in fixed plant shutdown and maintenance.
- A background work management is desirable.
- Quality focus with a drive to achieve results.
- Confident in meeting daily routines and delivery results around your key performance indicators
- Sound computer literacy and knowledge
- Ability to inspire and develop within your team.
- Safety first approach creating a culture of care with a clear safety leader engagement
- Keen to learn with a willingness for self-improvement.
- Exposure to FIFO and or shift work.
