About the role

We are looking for a Plant Operations Advisor to provide support to the Production Supervisor across our Tom Price operations.
This role is suited to a highly motivated individual who is passionate about being part of the solution, driving positive outcomes of the programmes and has a desire to develop their knowledge whilst engaging and influencing internal stakeholders.
Reporting to the Production Superintendent and working in a collaborative community, you will be:
- A PLM Champion (paperless maintainer). Identify and coach team members in the use of PLM on tablets
- Review and develop C&I routes and audit quality and frequency of inspections
- Work with Isolations task force to develop Isolation procedures for all areas of the Plant
- Review and develop training packages for Operators to learn new areas and work with the training department to update if required
- Implement New starter packages
- Analyse Ferro usage in Concentrator and work with Mets to minimize waste and identify improvements
- Work in conjunction with Metallurgical engineers for plant efficiency
- Carry out shut preparation plan reviews
- Represent production at weekly work management reviews
- Drive one sustainable improvement project per year
- Developing and leveraging strong working relationships with key internal and external customers in order to drive continuous improvement
- Identifying and investigating issues related to assigned initiatives
- Preparing and presenting interpretation of findings and submit for review
- Able to positively influence, and trouble shoot in a fluid work environment.

- A problem-solving mindset centred on offering solutions to improve safety, eliminate waste, reduce costs and remove delays
- Able to effectively prioritise, organise and coordinate workload proactively to suit altering priorities or assist others
- Self-motivated and capable of working either autonomously and within a team.
It would also be beneficial if you have;
- Experience with Fixed plant
- Ability to read and understand feed schedules
Where you’ll be working
Tom Price is located in the central Pilbara, west of Karijini National Park and is our original Pilbara mine, currently employing residential and fly in fly out employees. It is known as one of the most attractive towns in the Pilbara with a high school, two primary schools a hospital and a high standard of recreational facilities.
