About the role
We are looking for a Principal Adviser Platform Integration Lead (SAP BTP Integration Developer) to design, build, and lead enterprise integrations on the SAP Business Technology Platform as part of our Modern ERP program.
This is a great opportunity for a technically strong and collaborative integration specialist to shape the future state integration landscape while leading replatforming from SAP PI/PO and MII to SAP BTP Integration Suite. This Fixed Term Contract opportunity offers hybrid working, and is Brisbane based with flexible working arrangements.
Reporting to the Integration Lead and working in a collaborative and fast-paced delivery environment within the IS&T Platform Development team, you will:
Design, build, and maintain integrations using SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI) aligned to SAP best practices
Lead the replatforming of integrations from SAP PI/PO and MII to SAP BTP, ensuring minimal business disruption
Own technical design decisions and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and clean core principles
Conduct design and code reviews to ensure quality, performance, and maintainability of integration solutions
Implement robust integration patterns including API-led, event-driven, synchronous and asynchronous messaging
Ensure integration security, monitoring, logging, and error handling meet enterprise standards
Collaborate closely with SAP functional teams, developers, architects, and external vendors to deliver integration outcomes
Support testing, deployment, cutover, and post go-live activities including hypercare and incident resolution
About you
To be successfully considered for this opportunity, candidates must demonstrate:
A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
Strong hands-on experience with SAP PI/PO and SAP BTP Integration Suite (CPI)
Proven experience delivering integration solutions within ECC to S/4HANA transformation programs
Deep understanding of SAP integration patterns (REST, SOAP, IDoc, RFC, file-based, event-driven)
Demonstrated ability to lead technical design, mentor developers, and conduct peer reviews
Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments
