Join us as a Principal Advisor – Domain Architecture and help shape the future of technology at Rio Tinto.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the development of Process and Technology for Architects working across Rio Tinto’s value streams.

  • Partnering with business and IT leaders to shape strategic initiatives.

  • Driving innovation through emerging technologies and experimentation.

  • Building strong relationships across diverse teams and stakeholders.

  • Supporting governance, risk management, and architectural alignment.

What we’re looking for

We’re seeking someone who brings both technical expertise and a people-first mindset. You’ll be comfortable influencing across teams, communicating complex ideas clearly, and fostering collaboration.

To succeed in this role, you’ll have:

  • Experience in enterprise or domain architecture within large organisations.

  • Strong understanding of mining value streams and transformation frameworks.

  • A passion for innovation, inclusion and continuous improvement.

  • TOGAF or similar certification (preferred but not essential).

  • Experience in mining, energy, or industrial sectors (a bonus).

  • Demonstrated success in developing future-state architectures and enabling realization through cross-functional teams.

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
