We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Partner with experience in financial systems and processes to join our Future Finance Platform project team. You will play a critical role in the project team supporting data reconciliation and reporting activities.

Reporting to the Future Finance – Central Finance Product Owner and working in a collaborative community within Future Finance & Functions, you will be:
- Working closely with our Systems Integrator (SI) to ensure effective collaboration with key stakeholders across Product Groups, Group Finance and IS&T Functions
- Coordinating the data validation and reconciliation as part of the migration process, reconciling and documenting discrepancies, identifying anomalies, and ensuring data consistency between the finance platforms
- Responsible for identifying management reports impacted by the project with the objective of designing an improved common set of reports to meet all core requirements and reduce the number of spreadsheet, and manual workarounds while adhering to best practices
- Facilitating the transformation activities, supporting user training on new reports and conversion activities that will eliminate or reduce the number of spreadsheets being used
What you’ll bring
- A commitment to the safety of yourself and your team
- Knowledge of Rio Tinto systems, including SAP and HFM and processes, including Consolidation, Tax, Close & Reporting and Intercompany
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills to identify and evaluate opportunities and risks
- Good understanding of Rio Tinto’s financial reporting requirements and required metrics
- Strong understanding of data migration concepts, methodologies, and tools
- Proficiency in data analysis, transformation, and reconciliation techniques
- Familiarity with data cleansing, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), and data integration processes
