We are looking for a Principal Advisor, Global Workplace to partner across a large and dynamic portfolio connecting with key stakeholders to deliver future capability and skills.
This role is a rare opportunity for an experienced, strategic thinking Property and Workplace expert who is motivated by transformation & change. Reporting to the Senior Manager for Global Workplace & Facilities Management you will:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of a diverse property portfolio and maximising the safety and overall performance of the assets and contractors.
- Have a deep knowledge and experience of all aspects of the property and real estate industry
- Demonstrated success in delivering workplace projects, transactional work and curating modern workplaces that enable our people to work at their best.
- Accurately interpreting the business needs for assigned areas and play a key role in the delivery of the strategy for the region. execute/manage contracts that are fully aligned with both site objectives and agreed Category Management strategies
- Ensure consistent high performance of our service partners to deliver world class working environments
- Maintain and manage operating budgets and contribute to the Capital planning for the regions
- Regular reporting on operational & capital performance as well as workplace and other relevant metrics
- Prepare and manage the operational plans in line with strategic direction.
- Embed a safety and risk culture through effective change management
About you
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification of a commercial nature preferred i.e. Business/ Property/ Commerce/ Facilities Management
- Experience in leading a large and diverse property portfolio
- Ability to develop and deliver strategies that are aligned to the business objectives and priorities
- Practical experience of procurement practices
- A very thorough understanding of customer and supplier relationship management and Commercial or Strategy Procurement in a large complex organization;
- Demonstrated track record of embedding a safety culture across multiple locations
- Strong written and oral communication skills along with excellent stakeholder management
- A ‘can do’ attitude and a team player

- Strong experience from a comparable portfolio
- Stakeholder and relationship management expertise, as well as negotiation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence.
- Experience with solution/ opportunity scoping, pricing estimations, as well as complex RFQ development.
