In this newly established global position, you will help the Global Process leadership team to structure and make sense of their most complex problems, navigate to the optimal solutions, and develop their strategies to support the business. You will work closely with various internal stakeholders to turn your recommendations into sustainable change.
Reporting to the Manager, Master Data Management, some of the key duties of the role will include:
- Being able to influence and drive behavioural change and articulate the value of master data improvement
- Being the main point of contact in their respective region for advice and assistance on master data questions, support in data cleansing and maintaining governance requirements
- Making decisions around data governance requirements based on requests from user and RTP (e.g. adding a new item class to the sparesFinder dictionary)
- Educating RTP and end users on master data around why it is important and how it impacts them at an operational level
- Owning, updating and driving the procurement master data strategy
- Supporting Procurement Digital team with master data related issues
- Supporting broader procurement when acquiring and implementing new tools and the establishment of existing master data & master data governance
- Key point of contact for IS&T and Group Services for master data
- Training new master data super users as part of a semi-formalised program with analyst across all regions
Key Duties: Vendor Master
- Ownership of the vendor master data process and supplier management tool
- Accountability around the following in supplier management:
- Processing of requests in the tool (including creations, extensions, blocking / un-blocking)
- Drive global consistency through central guidelines around Vendor Master (Legal and Trading entities, regional specificities around Payment Terms and unique ID – ABN# in AU, GST# in NZ)
- Resolution of issues in the tool
- Execution of transactions in line with SOX requirements
- Coaching / guiding end users
- System management (e.g., new plant creation, new purchasing org creation, etc)
- Monitoring performance and quality of the data execution team
- Maintaining vendor master data documentation for end users & ensuring data execution team documentation remains valid
- Building linkage with E&C and the ESG reporting
- Responsible for continuous improvement of the supplier management tool and vendor master processes
- Assisting and guiding vendor master data cleansing efforts across the organisation
- Alignment of Ariba (contract and sourcing) dataset
- Link with broader commercial and inbound supply visibility and risk mitigation
