About the role
Reporting to the Senior Manager Design, our Principal Advisor UX Strategy is responsible for driving the alignment between user experience (UX) design principles and enterprise-level front end architecture. This role bridges the gap between UX design and technical architecture, ensuring that both user-centered design and business needs are integrated into the organisation's technology strategy. The Principal Advisor UX Strategy collaborates with cross-functional teams to define and implement cohesive, scalable, and user-friendly digital solutions that meet business goals and provide an optimal user experience across platforms.
About the design team you’ll be joining
We are committed to making a meaningful difference to the 49,000 people across Rio Tinto as they do their day-to-day jobs through our software. To do that well, and to deliver on our promises as a business, we know that user-centred design matters.

You have demonstrable ability to define projects and measures of success, test your assumptions and outcomes and continuously incorporate feedback.
