Why This Role
- Work on complex, meaningful problems with genuine operational and organisational impact

- Join a team focused on practical innovation, measurable value, and long-term capability building
Role description
We’re looking for a highly hands-on professional to help design, build, and operate enterprise AI, analytics, and data solutions that improve operational decision-making, strengthen risk management, and deliver measurable business impact.
This is not a purely strategic or research-focused role. You’ll work directly across coding, debugging, data engineering, AI deployment, analytics, automation, and production support in a lean, high-impact team environment.
The role combines AI and analytics delivery with operational platform ownership and enterprise stakeholder engagement. You’ll help shape intelligent systems while remaining deeply involved in the practical realities of building, deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining production-grade solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead enterprise AI, analytics, and data initiatives from concept through to operational deployment, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Remain highly hands-on across the full delivery lifecycle, including coding, debugging, experimentation, model development, deployment, optimisation, and operational support
- Design, build, deploy, and support scalable AI, machine learning, analytics, automation, and reporting solutions in production environments
- Develop and operationalise AI workflows, intelligent agents, LLM-powered applications, automated pipelines, and data products that solve real operational problems
- Maintain and evolve enterprise analytics and AI platforms, including Snowflake-based environments across sandbox, pre-production, and production ecosystems
- Develop, monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise ETL/ELT pipelines, orchestration processes, scheduled tasks, stored procedures, database functions, and automated workflows supporting business-critical systems
- Work across complex enterprise data ecosystems integrating operational systems, cloud platforms, reporting environments, and automation frameworks
- Partner closely with operational leaders, technical teams, and business stakeholders to identify opportunities, align priorities, and deliver practical outcomes
- Translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to data, AI, and platform governance while balancing innovation with operational reliability, maintainability, scalability, and business adoption
Qualifications and Experience
Core Capabilities
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to connect technical solutions to operational and strategic outcomes
- Comfortable operating as a deeply hands-on technical contributor while also influencing strategic direction and delivery priorities
- Strong problem-solving capability with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset
- Ability to work effectively across ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving business needs
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences
- Proven ability to take ownership of complex initiatives and drive outcomes end-to-end in lean team environments
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and operational support capability in complex enterprise environments
- Comfortable managing frequent context switching across technical delivery, platform support, stakeholder engagement, and strategic priorities.
- Experienced working with distributed and offshore teams, including providing clear technical direction, maintaining delivery alignment, and ensuring quality outcomes across time zones.
Technical Experience
- Strong capability in Python, SQL, and enterprise cloud-based analytics environments
- Strong understanding of ETL/ELT concepts, scalable data engineering practices, orchestration, automation, and analytics architecture
- Hands-on experience operating and supporting enterprise Snowflake environments, including schemas, tasks, stored procedures, streams, automated pipelines, and production workflows
- Experience developing, deploying, and supporting AI, machine learning, analytics, automation, or intelligent agent solutions in production environments
- Strong experience with AWS-based data and AI ecosystems, including cloud-native services, deployment patterns, storage, compute, and automation workflows
- Experience designing and operationalising AI agent workflows and LLM-powered solutions using frameworks such as LangChain or similar orchestration tooling
- Familiarity with containerisation and deployment tooling such as Docker and modern DevOps practices
- Experience with enterprise technologies such as Snowflake, AWS, Databricks, Power BI, GitHub, CI/CD workflows, and cloud-native development practices
- Strong data visualisation, storytelling, and operational decision-support capability
