Principal Asset Management

The Opportunity – Permanent, Full-Time Position

Due to an internal promotion, the role of Principal Asset Management has now become available and will be responsible for Providing Reliability Engineering and Life cycle management expertise for the Asset Management Systems landscape globally.

Reporting to the Group Manager Asset Management- as the Principal Asset Management Reliability Engineering, you will be responsible for:

• Demonstrating commitment to company objectives and vision through minimizing incidents related to safety, health, environmental, community, or business interruptions while delivering production and cost efficiencies
• Develop the framework (standards, guidelines, systems) to ensure Reliability Engineering excellence, and stewardship
• Influence Global stakeholders such as Engineering/Maintenance managers and functional leaders to achieve improvement in Reliability, Engineering excellence, and stewardship without having direct control of the scope and resources
• Ensure all work is well designed and guaranteed to deliver safe outcomes
• Creating a culture of care and accountability as an enabler to learn and improve continuously

About You

• Relevant experience in a similar role, with a multi-disciplined project and multinational corporate operational environment both domestically and internationally within the resources sector
• 10yrs operational experience and understanding of asset management systems, Reliability Engineering, and practices to contribute/influence operational decisions on business improvement
• Recognised as a subject matter expert in deploying Reliability Engineering practices and technology-based systems.
• Success in fostering a learning organization across multiple operations globally

Qualifications

• Discipline engineering tertiary qualification along with a preferred qualification on business management
