About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced, hands-on individual who will be responsible for business development activities for OS at Adelaide. Reporting to the Growth Manager, you will be able to maximise opportunities in all aspects of the OS offering through active business development whilst achieving growth in line with OS direction and values.  The Principal Growth will be accountable for:  

  • Drive OS business plans and business development strategy to ensure achievement of Growth target;
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to ensure growth and development of service offerings in the region;
  • Identify and recommend business development opportunities at Adelaide in conjunction with OS Leadership Team;
  • Build trusted relationship with Operations Managers to continuously improve our service to support safe and productive performance.

About You

We are searching for a commercial astute professional, ideally with experience in mining/service providers industries and welcome applications from Big 4/mid-tier movers. You will be well known for your relationship-building skills and your ability to deliver in a hands-on and ambiguous environment.  

  • Clear understanding of the interplay between contracts, operations and commercial outcomes and risk management;
  • Have experience or demonstrated interest in commercial, business development and/or project valuations;
  • Naturally curious with an analytical mindset, and enjoy opportunities to solve complex business problems;
  • Experience in preparing compelling proposals and demonstrate strong communication skills across multi layers of the the ogranisation from senior management to mine site leaders and operators.
  • Have strong organisational skills with the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Opportunities for job share arrangement are available
  • A tertiary or post graduate qualification in engineering, finance or commercial area will be highly desirable.
