Roster:  Monday to Friday

 

 

The Principal, Business Planning and Performance – HaulX integrates business priorities, planning, performance and leadership actions across HaulX. This role establishes and maintains the governance, systems, processes and management rhythm needed to support effective business performance and decision-making.

 

 

Working closely with the General Manager Autonomy, PMO, Finance, Controls, Program Performance and functional leaders, you will connect functional plans, performance insights, dependencies, risks and actions to create a clear and integrated business view. You will help improve alignment, predictability and delivery focus while working within agreed governance and controls frameworks.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Translate leadership direction into clear priorities, outcomes, plans and management actions
  • Integrate functional plans, delivery commitments, resource requirements, dependencies and performance expectations into a coherent HaulX business view
  • Coordinate integrated performance against approved plans, priorities, QSTs, KPIs and commitments, identifying trends, risks and matters requiring leadership attention
  • Prepare clear management information, insights and commentary to support leadership discussions, decisions and interventions
  • Coordinate HaulX leadership forums and management routines, including agendas, decision requirements, actions and outcomes
  • Maintain visibility of key decisions, commitments and actions, working with accountable owners to support effective follow-through
  • Coordinate scenario planning and assess the business implications of changes to priorities, plans and delivery assumptions
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across PMO, Portfolio, Finance, Controls, Program Performance and functional teams
  • Coordinate the integrated HaulX business view for senior leadership and governance forums, including leadership and Board materials where required
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and continuously improve planning, performance and management processes without creating parallel systems or reporting requirements.

 

Qualifications and Experience

 

  • Experience in business planning, performance management, strategy execution, program integration or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating integrated planning and performance processes across a complex or multidisciplinary organisation
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to identify performance drivers, trends and risks and translate data into practical insights
  • Experience working with KPIs, QSTs, management information, governance processes and executive reporting
  • Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, influencing and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to bring together complex information and communicate clear insights, decisions and recommended actions
  • Strong written communication and presentation skills
  • Practical understanding of governance, planning, performance management and continuous improvement
  • Ability to establish structure, discipline and clarity in a changing environment
  • Experience in mining, technology, engineering, autonomous systems or another complex operational environment would be advantageous.
