About the Role

Digital Maintenance aims to create a Dynamic Maintenance System that transforms maintenance beyond today’s limits. This role combines change leadership, process expertise, and data-driven decision making. Reporting to the Manager Delivery, the Principal understands how organisational change, processes, data, and technology interact. The role drives sustainable adoption by connecting business objectives, user needs, and delivery outcomes. The Principal ensures transformation initiatives deliver measurable value through effective stakeholder engagement, process improvement, and change adoption. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver change outcomes that support the Digital Maintenance Vision.
  • Understand customer, user, and stakeholder needs. Identify barriers affecting adoption, engagement, and business performance.
  • Develop and execute data-driven change strategies across transformation initiatives.
  • Understand and map business challenges to Signavio processes, capabilities, and operating models.
  • Assess process interactions across business functions, SAP, and enabling technology platforms.
  • Manage relationships across cross-functional delivery, business, and leadership teams.
  • Collect, integrate, analyse, and interpret change, adoption, operational, and performance data. Convert information into actionable insights.
  • Develop stakeholder engagement strategies that proactively identify risks, impacts, and opportunities.
  • Operate effectively within project environments. Support planning, governance, delivery, risk management, and value realisation.
  • Engage stakeholders from frontline operations to senior leadership.  

About You

Project & Program Delivery

  • Experience in project and program management within complex business environments.
  • Experience working within structured project and program delivery environments.
  • Ability to work independently, take ownership of deliverables, and contribute to transformation outcomes

Digital Transformation & Change Management

  • Proven involvement in enterprise digital transformation initiatives, preferably within mining, resources, or heavy asset industries.
  • Experience supporting change management activities within large-scale business and digital transformation programs.
  • Working knowledge of change management frameworks, including ADKAR or equivalent methodologies.
  • Ability to support business readiness, stakeholder adoption, and sustainable change outcomes.

Business Process Management & Continuous Improvement

  • Demonstrated application of process improvement methodologies to drive operational efficiency and business outcomes.
  • Experience in business process management, process architecture, and end-to-end process design.
  • Strong understanding of process architecture, systems thinking, and continuous improvement principles.
  • Proficiency in Signavio and business process modelling to analyse, document, and optimise business processes.

Systems & Technology

  • Understanding of SAP-enabled business processes and system interdependencies across functional areas.
  • Experience working with enterprise systems and technology-enabled business transformation initiatives.
  • Ability to assess process and technology interactions to support effective business outcomes.

Data Analysis & Problem Solving

  • Strong analytical capability, including the interpretation of operational, organisational, and performance data to support decision-making.
  • Data-driven approach to identifying opportunities, solving problems, and delivering measurable improvements.
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear insights, recommendations, and business outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Ability to engage and collaborate effectively with operational, technical, and leadership stakeholders.
  • Effective communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to influence outcomes and build alignment across cross-functional teams.
Qualifications & Industry Experience
  • Degree qualification in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, Change Management, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant experience in mining, resources, heavy asset, manufacturing, industrial, or similarly complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience supporting large-scale business, operational, or digital transformation initiatives.
