About the Role
Technology Asset East are a project delivery group supporting BHP’s Queensland Coal operations through delivery of Technology Projects. As Principal Delivery, you will be accountable for works supporting the Technology portfolio including Capital Planning Cycle (Life of Asset and Two Year Budget), Opportunity Framing, Studies and Project Delivery. The portfolio includes a view of Operational Technology (Digital Radio, wireless telemetry, network and data centres), Information Technology (production analysis initiatives, operational applications, cyber etc) and Digital enablement (data driven initiatives that improve safety, productivity and / or cost).
Reporting to the Portfolio Delivery Manager and as a senior member of the team you will be accountable for stakeholder engagement across the functions and operational teams ensuring alignment with the business’ priorities.

About You

- A STEM Bachelor degree is not mandatory but would be viewed favourably, as will previous experience in business case development and capital planning.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage people at all levels of the business.
- Sharp business acumen and understanding of mining key value drivers.
- Strong action orientation and superior problem solving.
- Demonstrated experience of leading by influence.
- Project or study management experience.
- The ability to effectively engage, work with and engage stakeholders and teams across multiple geographical regions
- Ability to thrive and lead in through uncertainty and change.
- An inclusive approach as a leader with the ability to manage multiple business priorities simultaneously.
