About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and influential practitioner to design, govern and embed Indigenous employment and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) programs that deliver sustainable, organisation-wide outcomes. This role will work closely with the business and HR teams to strengthen Indigenous employment practices, support key programs and initiatives, and build strong relationships across a wide range of stakeholders. They will provide practical advice to leaders, help identify risks and opportunities, and contribute to improving the experiences of employees who identify as being Indigenous. They will also play a key role in helping build capability across the organisation to drive better outcomes over time.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Lead the design and governance of Indigenous employment and DEI programs and initiatives that drive sustainable Indigenous employment outcomes
- Lead the planning and coordination of key improvement projects across the Indigenous employment lifecycle
- Build organisational capability and support the delivery of change initiatives that drive improved Indigenous employment outcomes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders
- Identify risks and opportunities, and support appropriate responses in line with agreed frameworks
About You
- Strong experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities
- Strong experience in HR, DEI, Org Development, governance, or workforce-related roles
- Thrive in a highly complex and dynamic environment
- Demonstrated ability to uplift organisational capability and drive change
- Highly skilled in stakeholder engagement, with the ability to influence and confidently engage with a wide variety of stakeholders across different areas and levels
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
