About the Role
We are seeking a talented individual to take on the role of Electrical Principal based within our Operations Services team located in the Perth office Western Australia. This role will require some site travel. Reporting directly to the OS Maintenance Manager, The Electrical Principal is responsible for the implementation of statutory electrical compliance enabling the safe execution of shutdown and fixed plant maintenance. Your duties will include: • Foster positive & productive working relationships and team culture • Set and maintain clear safety standards within the team • Implementation of governance and licensing regulations • Lead safety investigations and risk assessments • Support execution of operational activities • Build capability through coaching, mentoring • Lead and support continuous improvement opportunities.
About You
The successful candidate will possess the following: • Qualification in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Mechanic (A Grade Western Australian Electrical licence) • Current industry experience in fixed plant/shutdown maintenance • Sound knowledge and understanding of Electrical regulations and compliance • Support reactive, planned, and scheduled maintenance • Ability to successfully lead and work within a team environment • Have experience or a fast leaner with work management software (eg. 1 SAP) • Strong communication skills and a track record of achieving results • Demonstrated computer skills (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
