About the Role
We are seeking a Principal Enterprise Strategy to join the BHP Technology Strategy, Portfolio & Performance (SPP) team.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Strategy, and in collaboration with the strategy leads for Enterprise and Platform, Digital, and Testing, this role will help drive the vision for enterprise platforms and services, to scale digital productivity across BHP globally, and drive transformation roadmaps to guide their continual evolution in alignment with other strategic digital priorities including security, data, and software.
Specific accountabilities include:
- Work with customers to prioritise the development of strategies and roadmaps for enterprise platforms and services including ERP, Artificial Intelligence, service management, identity, network, cloud and data, and their respective opportunities to enable digital productivity at scale
- Develop and monitor metrics for digital productivity to evaluate platform strategy progress and effectiveness
- Collaborate across global BHP Technology to bring together internal subject matter experts for each of the platform components and create a unified and prioritised view
- Engage with targeted external thought leaders and strategic vendors to consider industry trends and product roadmaps
- Define the high-level reference target-state architecture for enterprise platforms across BHP globally
- Partner with the Technology leads of data strategy, software, cloud and emerging digital technologies, to coordinate, prioritise and align platform maturity and transformation milestones
- Engage with BHP Commercial’s procurement team to co-develop vendor engagement strategies and priorities in alignment to the defined target-stat
Location: This role can be based in Perth or Brisbane
About You
As the successful candidate, you will possess the following:
- Experience developing Technology strategies and roadmaps at the enterprise business level
- Good background in supporting digital transformation for a large, complex and distributed organisation
- Broad Technical knowledge and advisory experience especially targeted to senior technical and business stakeholder groups
- Participate as part of the Enterprise Strategy Team to drive an inclusive and collaborative technical culture
