About the Role

Reporting to the Finance Manager, this role will be accountable for partnering with the General Managers and Heads Of and can be located  Perth or Brisbane  with the opportunity to work from home multiple days a week (dependent on work commitments).

•    Provide finance guidance and drive strong financial management across the OS organisation •    Build strong relationships with our customers and other finance teams  •    Engage and co-ordinate with co-located teams, located in Australia and overseas •    Understand and explain the impact operational decisions have on the financial results •    Analyse data to identify trends, explain variances or validate insights •    Support the monthly forecast process and annual budget/planning process •    Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects  •    Complete ad hoc tasks as required

To be successful in this role you will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity and engage stakeholders at all levels. This role will require the successful candidate to rapidly learn the specific operational area the role supports and ensure that processes are in line with the contractual requirements for that area. 

About You

Professional with experience in resources, manufacturing, finance business partnership, consulting or engineering. •    Degree qualified; Commerce/Business or Engineering preferred, but not mandatory •    Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving •    Strong stakeholder engagement experience and customer focus •    Independent, proactive and self-motivated and ability to think outside the box and drive change •    Understanding in commercial contracts is an advantage
