About the Role
Operations Services (OS) is providing permanent employment to a growing team of more than 4000 employees. Reporting to the Head of Finance, this role will be accountable for partnering with the General Managers and Heads Of:
- Provide finance guidance and drive strong financial management across the OS organisation
- Build strong relationships with our customers and other asset finance teams.
- Partner with the operations to optimise financial outcomes.
- Analyse data to identify trends, explain variances or validate insights
- Support the quarterly forecast process and annual budget/planning process.
- Initiate and lead continuous improvement projects
- Engage and co-ordinate with co-located teams, located in Australia and overseas.
- Complete ad hoc tasks as required.
To be successful in this role you will have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, deal with ambiguity and engage stakeholders at all levels. This role will require the successful candidate to rapidly learn the specific operational area the role supports and ensure that processes are in line with the contractual requirements for that area.
About You
- Professional with relevant experience in resources, manufacturing, finance business partnership, consulting or engineering.
- Degree qualified; Commerce/Business or Engineering preferred, but not mandatory
- Proven analytical and quantitative skills with a data-driven approach to problem solving
- Strong stakeholder engagement experience and customer focus
- Independent, proactive and self-motivated and ability to think outside the box and drive change
- Understanding in commercial contracts is an advantage

This role is based in Brisbane Office with periodical travel to site required
