About the Role

An exciting opportunity exists to join the Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Team in the role of Principal Health Integrated Care.  This role will be responsible for providing technical expertise in management of complex health cases by involving multiple stakeholders and providing integrated and trauma-informed approach to ensure successful case management and promote a mentally healthy workforce. Through collaborating with the customer and building strong relationships with key stakeholders to create a culture that prioritises key health and wellbeing of our workforce, the Principal Health Integrated Care works to provide trauma-informed approach to reduce occupational-related health risks, and to deliver health promotion that encourages a mentally healthy workforce.

Location

This position is based in Perth, Western Australia in the multi award winning office tower - ‘City Square’. You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state of the art facilities including quiet rooms, breakout spaces and video conferencing facilities, 550 bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers and change room amenities and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.

About You

To be successful in the Principal Health Integrated Care role you will have a genuine desire to help and empower people to achieve positive health and wellbeing outcomes through an integrated and holistic approach; combined with a clear understanding of trauma-informed approach. You will also have an appreciation of the importance that the resources sector places on health and wellbeing management of our most important asset – our people.

Previous experience managing complex injury or illness management cases, working within a trauma-informed framework is preferred.

You will have proven ability to engage and work with multiple stakeholders at varying levels of the organisations, developing and maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with service providers and have excellent communication skills. You will be committed to coaching, influencing, and encouraging a mentally healthy and thriving workforce. Tertiary qualifications and proven experience in a health-related discipline (ie Psychology, Occupational Therapy or Nursing) is desirable.

You will have a working knowledge of relevant Health related legislation across Australia including reporting requirements and coordinating workers compensation case management as well as delivering health strategies in trauma-informed approach.

You will be able to work closely and share workload with your team but also be comfortable working autonomously when required and make informed decisions. You will be motivated by a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to problem solve and drive positive change.
