About the Role

We are seeking a Principal HR Business Partner who is looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference through partnering with our business leaders to achieve results. Based in either Muswellbrook, Hunter Valley or Brisbane, the successful candidate will form part of a committed team providing  technical expertise to the senior leadership teams focused on the strategy  and advisory on, HR matters. In this role you will be accountable for:

• Advising senior leaders on effective people processes to influence the culture and performance of our business.   • Coaching leaders in cultural advancement, capability uplift, talent and leadership development, and managing through change.   • Identifying and implementing improvement initiatives that contribute to the culture and productivity imperative.  • Playing a key role during business planning processes and the development of Strategic Workforce Plans. 

Site travel to  Musswellbrook required on a semi-regular basis.

About You

You will have broad HR experience, having coached across all levels of an organisation and be passionate about supporting leaders in creating an empowered, high performing culture. As a strategic thinker, you will also be innovative and guide the future direction of our organisation and the future work of our employees. Critical to the success of this role is your ability to be collaborative and actively build strong partnerships across our HR Function.  It is important that you are down to earth, resilient, have an eye for detail and are results driven. Naturally, your communication and interpersonal skills will be a strength as you interact with a variety of stakeholders.
