About the Role
Come join the HR team at New South Wales Energy Coal (Mt Arthur). We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced HR Professional who will be responsible for helping shape and deploy Mt Arthur’s people strategy. The role will partner with local leaders on key focusses including strategic workforce planning, talent & succession, organizational change management, uplifting leadership capability and helping drive inclusion and diversity initiatives to enhance team performance. This role reports to the site’s HR Manager and will partner closely with the Site Leadership Team (SLT) and our Employee Relations team in providing strategic business partnership support across our leadership levels.
Location

- Progress sustainable talent and succession frameworks across the site
- Support and influence local inclusion and diversity efforts by ensuring focus to key areas of impact
- Advise leaders on strategic people decisions facing their organizations
- Advise leaders on HR topics including culture, talent, performance, reward, organisational design, capability, and Employee Relations (ER) strategy to support high performance, and resolve issues
- Assist leaders to identify strategic priorities and key people levers requiring HR support, and assist them to adequately plan and prioritize HR resources to support the delivery of such strategic priorities
- Helping to connect the business with the HR function to drive alignment of strategy and execution plans
- Provide coaching and leadership effectiveness support
- Support and sponsor HR-led changes through relationships with Business leadership
- Present and Facilitate on complex topic to drive enrollment and momentum aligned to the people strategy
About You
- Bachelor's degree is an advantage
- Minimum 7 years’ experience in Human Resources
- Strong background in Coal employment law and industrial relations
- Proven record of leading complex HR initiatives and deploying through adaptive and or agile project management methodology
- High attention to detail
- Skilled and drafting strategic papers viewable by Senior Executives in the organization
