About the Role
Reporting to Lead HR Services West, and based in Perth we have an exciting opportunity for a Principal HR Service Partner role supporting our Western Australian Iron Ore and Nickel West Assets.
In this role, you will be responsible for and have the opportunity to:
- Manage senior leader stakeholder communications with relevant context and positioning associated with expected HR turnaround times and service experience based on performance levels
- Senior Leader (GM and above) single point of contact for HR services support, including complex cases and escalation resolution for the Western Australian Iron Ore and Nickel West Assets.
- Coach and support Specialists and Analysts in effective prioritisation, focus on high value work and effective stakeholder management
- Have a continuous improvement mindset, actively identify opportunities for improved customer experience and support the embedment of BHP Operating System (BOS)/Lean practices
- Drive partnership and engagement with the Line to understand pain points, working with relevant teams to prioritise improvement
- Have a sound understanding of asset specific context and priorities allowing you to identify and plan upcoming HR activities in collaboration with Leaders and HR Sub-Functions
- Support Lead and wider team in embedding proactive and sustainable leader cadences
- Lead and execute large scale projects aligned to the critical priorities of the team
- Demonstrate strong influencing skills to work collaboratively and partner with our third party vendors to continually improve operational performance, capability and context building within their delivery
About You
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have previous HR Business partnering experience and or transactional experience.
- Experience with Senior Leader engagement and comfortable working at all levels.
- Experience in HR Project Management experience & exposure.
- Thrive in a fast paced environment with a proactive, strategic and forward thinking mind set.
- You will have the ability to build strong rapport and trusted working relationships, a deep focus on uplifting customer experience and proven stakeholder management and prioritisation.
