Work Location: Fortescue Centre
- Fortescue’s Perth office is located on the traditional lands of the Whadjuk Noongar people.
Roster: Monday to Friday, with flexible work arrangements available.
We are looking for a Principal of Health and Wellbeing to join our Corporate Health and Safety Team. As the Principal of Health and Wellbeing you will play a pivotal role in driving positive change and making a significant impact. With a focus on Psychologically safe workplaces and organisational strategy. This role will work closely with a cross section of the business including the People and Organisational Development functions to proactively identify, design and implement the businesses Health and Wellbeing Strategy.
Key responsibilities include:
- Act as an integral leader within the Health, Safety, and Wellbeing stream
- Exercise expert subject knowledge and management skills to review and redesign our Health and Wellbeing strategy.
- Foster collaboration with both internal and external stakeholders to drive impactful change.
- Support development of programs, controls and materials to support best practice Health and Wellbeing in both Mining and Green Resources in both a domestic and international context.
- Support organisational learning through deployment of human factors investigation skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven experience as an Organisational Psychologist, with a sound understanding of organisational strategy and employee behaviour.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and engage peers, operational leaders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to proactively identify, diagnose, and address performance and well-being issues.
- Sound knowledge of quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices in the field.
- Human Factors Investigation trained, with sound experience with human factor investigation facilitation.
