About the Role

Reporting into the Manager H2R, this role is responsible for the delivery of changes, operational support, stability and compliance of SAP HR, Payroll and Time Management within BHP's large and complex SAP landscape and eco system.

This role is a technical and functional SME for SAP HR , Payroll and Time Management playing a key role in the design and build of all change in this space inclusive of projects.

  • Accountable for the operational support and stability of SAP HR, Payroll and Time Management inclusive of integrations such as SuccessFactors, Employee Central and other interfaces
  • Accountable for the delivery of all change in relation to SAP HR, Payroll and Time Management

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with the partner technical/functional teams to drive operational improvements, service reliability including automations and innovations

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement 

  • Delivers Operational Stability, and Performance for the portfolio in line with agreed SLAs and maintaining mean time to restore of services within target timeframes
  • Participate in regular meeting cadences such as performance boards in line with BOSS, Agile and DevOps practices

Leadership, Coaching & Reporting

  • Plan, coach and manage the teams within the accountable technical / functional stream

Project Management

  • Identify and select the best methodologies/approach for developing and executing projects

Risk Management

  • Proactively identify and take accountability to manage all risks for relevant experience area (operational, strategic, compliance and reporting)

Governance  

  • Define process standards and set and monitor adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)and key performance indicators

Measures of Success

  • Overall customer satisfaction ratings / sentiment for service area

About You

  • 8+ years relevant experience with a Fortune 100 organisation and/or consulting environment with strong technical/functional experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the implementation or support of SAP functional / technical systems / projects
  • Hands on SAP configuration experience in the areas of Payroll and Time evalutation
  • ABAP / Debugging skills desirable
  • Strong analysis skills
  • Experience managing service providers and vendors in an outsourced environment
  • Proven track record of taking ownership and driving issues to resolution
  • Operational mindset with experience working in a live operational environment with 24/7 accountability
  • At least 2 full cycle SAP implementation experience
  • Demonstrated stakeholder engagement, influencing skills and relationship building skills

Education Qualification

  • A tertiary degree in Computer Science, or equivalent relevant experience
