About the Role

Principal Performance Technology Australia role is focussed on supporting the Technology Australia leadership team to drive performance across BHP priorities in partnership with Technology and business stakeholders. 

This role is exposed to a broad range of technical and business issues and will proactively drive continuous improvement. You will collaborate and communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders across Technology, build a wide network of engagement across the enterprise to seek opportunities for standardisation, replication and simplification, and drive effectiveness and efficiency using the BHP Operating System (BOS) principles and practices.

Your accountabilities include:

  • Develop and communicate insights that guide data driven action and decision making for Technology Australia leaders.   
  • Conduct presentations and facilitate routines using storytelling to connect, influence and engage the audience.   
  • Apply strategic and systems thinking, use multiple lenses and stakeholder perspectives to enhance decision making outcomes. 
  • Apply an understanding of the business context, BHP operating model and ways of working to enhance decision making, productivity and value chain performance.   
  • Engage the capabilities of the entire organisation.   
  • Strive to achieve 100% safety, 100% customer value and 0% waste.   
  • Knows our customer and is obsessed with meeting their needs.

About You

The successful candidate will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience working proactively, collaboratively and autonomously across teams to deliver outcomes and lead change and improvement.
  • Strong business acumen, analytical and problem-solving skills. Capacity to absorb and synthesize information across multiple domains and prioritize work across multiple workstreams.
  • Ability to collaborate with and influence a broad stakeholder network including senior leaders. 
  • Demonstrated self-awareness and ability coach peers for uplifted outcomes.
  • Degree qualification in Business, Management, Commerce, Technology, Engineering or related.

Location

Perth is the preferred location, alternatively we are also open to consider Adelaide or Brisbane. You will be working Monday-Friday and flexible work is also offered.
