Principal Primavera P6 Planner

Role overview:

This is a role as a Principal Primavera P6 Planner that requires knowledge and experience in the planning and scheduling of projects. Responsibilities of this role include project planning and scheduling of drilling programs, baseline schedules and tracking of actual progress in Primavera P6. This role will ensure the preparation and development of the interface schedule that is distributed to internal and external stakeholders of the Strategic Drilling Team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure the preparation and development of appropriate detail and summary of drilling schedules in Primavera P6
• Manage and assist in the capture of data relevant to Drill Planning

• Prepare and implement project-wide progress measurement and reporting system, including roll-up levels, section weightings and reporting cycle calendar
• Managing business stakeholder expectations and communicating delivery status, escalating appropriate issues, risks and providing visibility to Principal managers

Qualification and Experience: 

• Extensive experience in a similar role
• Experience analysing intricate project planning issues and inter-relationships between projects
• Ability to actively seek to understand technical context
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Good listener and able to engage with end users at all levels of the organisation
• Project management experience is highly desirable
