About the Role

Reporting to the Manager Global Productivity as a Product Owner, you will play a key role supporting Global Productivity products which enable the organisation’s general productivity. BHP’s approach to application portfolio management focuses on capability-based portfolios, and application roadmaps to minimise duplication and reduce cost.

This role will help to create and own the global productivity capability development and operational roadmap for our productivity applications and will assist to define the strategic vision for the team in alignment with key stakeholders. They build close relationships with key stakeholders to ensure that the Product team’s effort is aligned with the overall strategy and business priorities.

About You

As the successful candidate you will possess the following: 

  • More than 10+ years of total experience in the IT industry
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Computer Science, MIS, or Engineering preferred
  • Knowledge and experience of and with best-of-class enterprise personal productivity tools (Microsoft O356, Adobe Creative Suite, etc)
  • Experience working in Microsoft Active Directory / AzureAD. Microsoft PowerBI dashboards. Microsoft Power Platform tools.
  • Strong understanding of End User Computing, End User Support and/or Service Management processes and tools
  • Experience in Technology Operational support/teams
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Commitment to health, safety, and environmental priorities of BHP
  • Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
  • Not afraid to “roll up the sleeves” and seeks to go outside comfort zone to learn – pushes teams to do the same
  •  Possess interpersonal skills necessary to develop productive relationships across a diversity of teams, cultures, and all levels of the organisation
  • Ability to work effectively in a diverse and globally dispersed virtual team environment, guiding and supporting team members
  • Diligence and persistence in promoting the best options.

This role is based in Perth, Brisbane, or Adelaide. Flexible work options will be considered but you will be required to attend a BHP office as required.
