About the Role

We are currently looking for a highly motivated professional to join our team as Principal Reporting in the BHP Projects Global Program Management Office (PMO) team.

Reporting to the Manager Portfolio Performance, this role is responsible for facilitating key reporting routines on behalf of the Minerals Australia Projects Leadership team, providing timely and accurate insights to senior leaders and other business stakeholders.

In this role you will:

  • Build strong working relationships across all levels within the global projects organisation to coordinate the development of key monthly and quarterly reports (ensuring the quality of deliverables is maintained and deadlines are met).
  • Continually challenge the way in which data is aggregated, analysed and presented, suggesting and implementing improvements where required (in toolkits, processes and systems).
  • Provide guidance and coaching to Projects team members regarding reporting timelines and data requirements.
  • Act as the interface between Projects team and global teams working on digital transformation (ensuring that any impacts to Projects team processes and systems is understood and managed effectively).

About You

As a successful candidate you will possess the following:

  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to provide clear and concise insights from complex data sets.
  • Ability to partner with stakeholders to build a culture of collaboration and achieve change through influence.
  • Demonstrated experience preparing reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High attention to detail with strong quality control skills.
  • Ability to deliver high-quality work under time pressures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with data visualisation and reporting tools (e.g. Power BI) will be highly regarded.

Location

There is flexibility to be based in our Australia corporate offices in Perth, Brisbane or Adelaide. You will be working on Monday-Friday roster while flexible work is also offered.
