We are looking for a Principal Resource Estimation to create and protect value across our copper portfolio by ensuring the resource risks, opportunities and uncertainties are identified and quantified where possible, and are managed to stakeholder expectations.

This role is a great opportunity for a strategic thinking individual who enjoys collaborating with different stakeholder groups to deliver key business objectives. Reporting to the Chief Advisor Resource Development, Copper Technical, you will be required to:
- Ensure personal actions and behaviours are aligned with the aim of achieving Zero Harm and clearly demonstrate safety leadership;
- Be accountable for generating geology and resource models using various interpolation techniques;
- Develop a practical approach to resource estimation and work across the portfolio to benchmark and implement leading practises;
- Advise our growth strategy and project shaping, provide technical expertise, share best practises, anticipate current and future risks, and provide direction and guidance within the discipline;
- Work closely with project and operations teams to identify opportunities for improvement including risk management and productivity improvements;
- Improve mining efficiencies, accuracy of plans across various time horizons and delivery of those plans through reconciliation of model performance.

- Bachelor Degree in Geoscience
- Extensive experience in resources estimation across different commodities
- Ability to mentor, train & develop on-site teams
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills and be able to successfully navigate a networked organisation

- Membership of a professional society
