We are looking for Principal Scheduling Logistics within our Planning Integration & Assets business to play a key role in leading the Logistics Scheduling team whilst contributing to the balancing of all components of the world’s largest integrated mine network, comprising 17 mines, +1900km rail, and 2 ports to supply product to over 100 global customers.

Reporting to the Manager Integrated Operations Scheduling this is a fantastic opportunity for a technical leader with excellent communication skills to lead a team of experts. You will be joining an experienced and knowledgeable group of supply chain subject matter experts whose expertise spans across mine scheduling, maintenance integration, port scheduling and supply planning.
In this role, you will be:
- Accountable for ensuring an operational readiness for the Future Scheduling Platform within Logistics Scheduling
- Coordinating and overseeing all scheduling activities for the movement of iron ore from the mine stockpile to our customers
- Liaising regularly with RTIO Commercial and Marine teams to manage the ship queue and vessel arrival planning
- Responsible for managing quality delivery within the value chain
- Delivering a range of productivity improvements whilst displaying a high degree of commercial acumen.
- Advising, recommending, and reporting to a wide group of stakeholders and leaders across the business
It is important to have well-developed engagement skills, allowing you to effectively communicate and influence across a diverse stakeholder base whilst leading your team to success, through effective goal setting, coaching and support. You will also be required to work with senior leaders and operational managers to safely deliver best-for-business outcomes and managing competing priorities.
