About the Role
We are actively seeking the talents of a highly driven, technology service management expert who will execute and deliver on innovation in our Technology Remote Operations Centre (TROC) team as part of Technology Minerals Australia.
Reporting to the Superintendent Service Delivery, this role presents a terrific opportunity to improve services, stakeholder relations, capabilities and our partnerships with the broader Technology teams.
In this diverse lead role, you will:
- Be proactive, energised and deliver on service management outcomes in a busy environment at a fast pace.
- Adapt to changing priorities based on business needs.
- Managing conflicting priorities and stakeholders.
- Solve service management problems to reduce the impact to the business of technology incidents (this includes streamlining processes, improving communications to ensure they are precise and targeted and determining and understanding business impact).
- Provide expertise on ITIL processes (Incident, Problem and Change Management).
- Implement simplified process improvements for teams that are clear.
- Implement service performance measurements and targets.
About the Team
The TROC team purpose is to Predict, Prevent and Respond to all Operational Technology events and consists of over 100 team members. The Service Delivery function sits within the TROC structure and supports the 24/7 Technology support, Change Scheduling and Planning operational teams.
The Service Delivery team’s purpose is to empower TROC to execute their work efficiently and effectively.
About You
To be successful in this role you will be an experienced and skilled professional with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills. You are team oriented, and results focused with genuine passion for mentoring and coaching others to achieve results.
In addition, we are ideally looking for the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working in a Technology Operations Centre.
- Experience and advocate of Agile methodology.
- ITIL Knowledge / ServiceNow (or familiarity with ITSM systems).
- IT/OT experience or Trade/Tertiary qualification in Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Demonstrated ability managing multiple conflicting priorities and strong decision-making skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously and execute on deliverables depending on the requirement.
- Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills and understanding root causes.
- Ability to support and grow a culture of diversity within the team.
Location: Perth
You will have stunning river views from your modern open plan office, state-of-the-art facilities including virtual whiteboards and video conferencing facilities, bicycle racks with ample lockers, showers, and change room amenities, and a large outdoor terrace with barbecues.
You will be working a Monday-Friday roster.
