About the Role

Reporting to the Spatial Product Owner in Operations Functions Technology, you will participate in a team of other full stack developers, user experience and agile delivery professionals. This role can be based in Brisbane or Perth.

Your key responsibilities will include: 

  • Participate in agile sprints lead by an agile delivery professional.
  • Level 3 support for spatial operations.
  • Automation in Python and PowerShell
  • Software development lifecycle using GitOps, TDD and package managers
  • Spatial data transformation in Python, ArcGIS, FME and cloud native services
  • Building amazing modern spatial web user experiences in Angular, React, ArcGIS Web App or Experience Builder.
  • Building APIs in .Net core, NodeJS or Python

About You

The candidate should have 5 or more years relevant professional experience with a qualification in Computer Science, Geoscience or a technical discipline. The right person in this role will add value by bringing diversity of thought to our team.

You should demonstrate:

  • Customer focused delivery
  • DevOps and agile way of working
  • Data transformation automation with spatial tools
  • Web GIS development
  • Ability to influence architecture and best practice decisions

Would be beneficial to have:

  • Cloud native development experience
  • Cloud and ArcGIS certifications
  • Jenkins configuration experience
