About the Role

Do you have a passion for developing people and their careers? Do you want to make a step change to our Technology skills and capabilities?  This role is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in supporting our team to attract and develop future facing digital skills.  

Using your learning & development experience, you will partner with senior Technology and HR stakeholders to identify, plan and execute strategic workforce initiatives to increase talent pools, improve retention and develop skills and capability.  Future program options include design and implementation of a Capability Development Program (Technology Academy), school and university programs, and graduate program improvements.  

This role works at a senior leader level and you will work collaboratively to: 

  • Understand future talent needs (demand), and the global technology talent market (supply) to develop informed, right-sized solution options. 
  • Prepare initiative proposals to be delivered at executive level. 
  • Define execution, communications and engagement plans. 
  • Deliver initiatives in accordance with execution plans including coordination, program designs, execution activities, communications and reporting. 
  • Build effective cross-functional relationships with Technology Leaders, Human Resources, and functional leadership 

About You

Qualifications  

  • Tertiary level qualification or relevant demonstrated experience and ability to continuously learn  

 Skills 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills 
  • Ability to work in a dispersed team and with global / regional teams 
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results through ambiguity 
  • Ability to work collaboratively, build relationships, and deliver through others - at all levels of the organization 
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated understanding root causes cause analysis 
  • Demonstrated consulting and advisory skills 
  • Ability to self-manage and identify areas for continual learning 

Experience 

  • Essential – 5 + years workforce or capability development experience 
  • Essential – 3 + years working directly with leadership teams 
  • Essential – 2 + years in organization leadership, strategy, change and/or transformation
