About the Role
↵In this newly created role, we are seeking a Principal Testing Lead Digital to join the BHP Technology Strategy, Performance & Portfolio team. This role is critical to guide the ongoing design and continue to develop maturity in of Ways of Working for the digital capability in technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Testing Strategy and Testing Roadmap to support digital transformation initiatives for BHP.
- Provide leadership, coaching and support for testing function.
- Create Testing Strategy that defines and plans developing key testing functions including target platforms, test automation, test optimisation, test coverage, test data management.
- Drive ongoing improvement in test maturity across Technology in line with the Testing Roadmap.
- Collaborate with the broader digital strategy team and key Technology stakeholders to incorporate testing strategies and standards into holistic design of end-to-end Digital capability.
- Define BHP Operating System (BOS) aligned business metrics and KPI’s related to the design and performance of the Software Engineering strategy.
About You
The successful candidate will have:
- Demonstrated experience in test strategy, at scale.
- Demonstrated experience in test execution.
- Experience transforming organisational ways of working
- Strong consulting / advisory skills ranging from analytics, strategy development, senior stakeholder engagement / influencing / facilitation and consensus building
