About the Role

The role can be based in Australia (Brisbane or Perth), Singapore or India (Bangalore)

Our Global BHP Technology function partners with our Operations and Functions to drive improvement and innovation in safety, culture, productivity, and social value through the application of world class technology.

As part of the Treasury and Cash Management (TCM) team, within the Technology Function, you will report into the Product Owner TCM and also work closely with the Accenture DevOps BAU team. You will be accountable for defining strategy, roadmap, solution design and architecture of the Treasury, Cash Management, BCM, APM and REFX modules in SAP  

In this role, your key accountabilities will include: 

  • Develop and maintain technology strategy and functional roadmaps for Treasury and Cash Management applications, ensuring alignment with global technology strategy and business needs.
  • Manage application lifecycle to keep the applications current and relevant for the business.
  • Accountable for solution design and architecture governance for Treasury and Cash Management applications, identifying new solutions and optimization opportunities that will improve the relevance and performance of the global applications and ERP (SAP) systems landscape for the treasury functions
  • Perform high level solution design for enhancements or changes, incorporating the new design into the existing Treasury and Cash Management application architecture 
  • Support the execution of Opportunity Assessment and Identification & Selection process for projects under the Treasury and Cash Management Technology portfolio. 
  • Provide subject matter expertise to technology projects and DevOps teams to drive collaboration within the team to ensure effective execution of BAU incidents, Changes, Projects and other activities.
  • Engage with stakeholders in technology and business for problem management, business impact scoping and other testing / training requirements. 

About You

  • 10-15 years of experience in SAP, specializing in hands on design, configuration and implementation of Treasury, Cash Management and BCM modules. 
  • Proven experience and expertise in integration between SAP and External parties e.g. Banks, Broadridge and Market data providers
  • Deep understanding of Treasury and Payments business processes 
  • Strong problem solver with the ability to manage and lead the support team to identify blockers, articulate the root cause, push the solution and progress
  • Able to manage multiple priorities across BAU incidents, minor improvement works and larger projects
  • Effective team player, capable of engagement and influence across different stakeholders (including external parties such as banks, Broadridge) and the ability to manage conflicts and issues
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills 

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in S4 Hana would be beneficial
  • Relevant SAP application Certification is desirable.
  • Knowledge & practical experience in the area of Agile, DevOps methodologies and practices is an advantage
  • Exposure to APM (Advanced Payment Management) and/or REFX would be a bonus
