About the role
We have a Process Controller opportunity for a highly motivated individual with mechanically minded attributes available. You will join our Carbon Baking Furnace (CBF) team working a 12-hour shift roster on the Carbon Red shift team.
Reporting to the Carbon Shift Crew Leader (Red), the primary focus of a Process Controller is to measure and maintain the key process control parameters, within guidelines specified by the Superintendent, Crew Leader and CBF Technical team. To be successful in the role, your key accountabilities will include (but not limited to):
Compliance with mandatory PPE and safety systems including completing quality pre-task risk assessments i.e. Take 5s, Critical Control Checklists and pre-start checks
Following the guidance of and supporting the decisions of their leaders in order to achieve production targets safely
Demonstrating accountability of allocated responsibilities and ownership of work area
Collaborate, provide input and feedback respectfully within the wider Carbon team
Ability to work flexibly in different teams/roles/processes and be prepared to rotate within Carbon as required
Routine and assigned operational tasks specific to the operation of the Carbon Baking Furnace plant
Support the improvement process to sustain and improve performance over time
Analyse data to identify changes in the process, including trends
Perform all tasks in a safe and effective manner
What you’ll bring
A background in running a continuous process plant is highly regarded, though in partnership with a supportive team and leadership, we will upskill you where required. You will display:

Proven record of operating safely to achieve the work schedule and meet operational targets
