Fixed Plant Process Operators
Work Location: Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.
Roster: 7D7N14R - FIFO Ex Perth, Karratha, Busselton
Fortescue is currently seeking expressions of interest from mining experienced Process Operators with relevant experience within the Ore Processing Facility (OPF) fixed plant.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Efficient operation of the ore processing plant
- General maintenance of crushing plant and associated equipment
- Regular liaison with management for production and target purposes
- Contributing to a team environment
Education and Experience:
- High safety standards with showing commitment to our company safety values
- Positive attitude with an eagerness to learn new things
- Working at heights qualification desirable
- Experience operating large crushing screening processing plants including MMD sizers, cone crushing circuits associated conveying systems and associated plant components
- Experience operating systems – SCADA, Citect, Simplicity, and Meridian
