Our Deflector team is seeking a Process Operator to join the team, providing all rounder processing requirements.
Vault Minerals Limited is a leading intermediate gold producer listed on the ASX, with a diversified portfolio of operating assets across Western Australia and Canada. Deflector Operation consists of two high-grade, narrow vein Gold/Copper mines, located 160 km east of Geraldton. The ore is contained in a series of structurally complex lodes, namely the Deflector and Deflector South West deposits.
Reporting to the Mill Shift Supervisor, the Process Operator will work as part of our Deflector Processing team. You will support the Mill Shift Supervisor in leading by example and demonstrating high standards of work, reliability, safety and housekeeping of the Gold & Copper processing plant.

Key responsibilities of this role will include:
- Monitor and adjust operating variables and equipment to maintain optimum output for the processing plant
- Operate in the assigned section of the process plant including; Flotation, Crushing, Grinding, Leaching, Dewatering and ROM pad operations
- Ensure that reagent stock tank levels and other consumables are maintained
- Accurately record all relevant data on shift log sheets, shift diaries
- Ensure a safe work environment through high housekeeping standards, safe work procedures, incident/accident reporting and active involvement in safety programs and meetings
- Maintain safety equipment, tools and vehicles in a clean and serviceable condition
- Actively maintain knowledge of and compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures and Safe Work Practices
About You
- Previous experience in crushing and grinding circuit operation, CIL/CIP operation, or flotation would be an advantage.
- A strong working knowledge of gold processing environment.
- Previous experience operating loaders, skid steers, and excavators, and hold all necessary nationally recognized certifications.
- Hold a valid WA Driver’s License (Manual C Class)
- Possess a High-risk work license for Forklift and
- Confined Space and Work at Heights qualification
- Working knowledge of the WA Mines Safety and Inspection Act and Regulations
- Excellent communication skills
