Process & Systems Specialist – P2P

This role will drive strategy and continuous improvement regarding efficiency, compliance and value in Procure to Pay activities. It will also be responsible to manage the Purchasing team and ensure relevant SLAs are being met.

Job Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Participation in the development of Procure to Pay Strategy
  • Implement strategy and continuous improvement initiatives regarding Procure to Pay
  • Drive efficiency and systematic automation of procurement processes
  • Work with internal stakeholders where required to resolve all purchasing issues/queries against mutually agreed timeframes
  • Ensure processing purchase requisitions and purchase orders are completed under agreed SLAs
  • Ensure high-quality internal customer service by purchasing team
  • Work with key suppliers to drive increased efficiency and value from procurement processes
  • Development of timely reporting and analytics to add value to support the procurement team and wider business
  • Effective and accurate utilization of systems and analytical/reporting tools
  • Develop and implement effective training resources to support Procure to Pay processes across the business
  • Regularly monitor and report on compliance with procurement policy and procedures

Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 5 years experience managing or performing a purchasing/procurement function
  • High level of experience using SAP S4 in Materials Management
  • Demonstrated experience implementing process improvement
  • Demonstrated experience in developing reporting and data analytics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage a high-performing team
  • Advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • The ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders
