About the Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Procurement Performance Specialist to provide technical expertise in Procurement performance, Procurement strategy, and Procurement deployment. In this role you will be responsible for driving performance improvement projects and initiatives globally.
Key responsibilities in the role will include:
- Understands the end-to-end Supply Chain process to enhance efficiency, drive optimisation, and maximise value
- Identifies areas for process improvement using appropriate tools/lean methodologies (Eg. Fishbone Diagram, 5 Whys)
- Provides expert advice on industry trends and market dynamics to drive enhanced decision making and planning.
- Develop strong partnerships with key stakeholders globally
- Plans and delivers presentations/reports to communicate process improvements to key stakeholders
This role can be based in either Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide BHP corporate offices. Working a Monday to Friday roster we offer flexible working arrangements.
About You
We are looking for individuals who are innovative and who possess strong procurement knowledge along with strong analytical and business improvement skills. Your excellent communication skills are founded by experienced analytical and presentation abilities allowing you to effectively communicate and influence across all levels of the business.
To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
- Tertiary Qualifications (Bachelor’s Degree or above) and / or industry experience
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and creative problem solving skills
- Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders with different areas of expertise and experience
- Capability in project scoping, project planning and executing work using a disciplined approach to attain project goals;
- System knowledge of Power BI and SAP advantageous;
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook);
