We are looking for a Procurement Specialist Contract Management – Global Technology to join the IT Services Category Management team. You will be responsible for executing technology contract implementation and category lead initiatives across major projects and IS&T operations across Rio Tinto.
This is an exciting & challenging opportunity for an experienced technology procurement professional. You will enjoy working as part of the Global Technology Procurement team, collaborating with a range of stakeholders to influence and manage a broad portfolio of work focusing on IT Services. You will have a passion for process improvement, category management, transformation and can speak the language of today’s technology landscape. Reporting to the Principal Advisor – IT Services you will:
- Develop and execute technology Supplier Relationship Management strategies for strategic IT Services Suppliers
- Own and manage the IT Services Supplier Relationship Management Framework
- Pro-actively Monitor and manage supplier performance;
- Resolve and mediate commercial disputes
- Build and manage effective relationships with a broad range of internal stakeholders;
- Provide commercial leadership and guidance to the global stakeholder teams;
- Build and grow relationships with relevant suppliers to drive innovation and value through building positive relationships
- Work and collaborate effectively in a global team;
- Motivated, growth mindset and willing to learn;
- Facilitate a seamless handover to the project and operational management teams to ensure value continues to be optimized.
What you will bring
To be successfully considered for this role, you will have had substantial experience in Technology Contract Management as well as a proven record of leading to drive successful commercial outcomes. We require an ability to establish and maintain positive relationships with internal & external stakeholders to drive a culture of collaboration, participation and improvement is essential.
