About the role  

We are looking for Product Development Specialist to join our Team in Perth. You’ll be driving the Power Platforms team in both delivery of digital products and applying best practice to the ways we work. The role will able to execute on delivering digital products in the Power Platforms suite such as Power BI & Power Apps that deliver towards the Iron Ore strategy

Reporting to the Superintendent Product Development, you will:   

  • Maintain and update a suite of existing apps and dashboards that are currently delivering value to our frontline customers.
  • Liaise with the people function and our operational teams to define and understand requirements and develop product solutions.
  • Play an important role in coaching and guiding junior members of the team.
  • Recommend and build data solutions using the Microsoft Power Platform stack.
  • Analyse and Visualise Data with Power BI
  • Configure dashboards, reports, and apps in the Power BI Service
  • Create apps by using Power Apps, as well as Integrating Power Apps, with other apps and services
  • Create and manage Power Automate flows.
  • Execute scoping best practice to define critical customer requirements and maximise value through the development lifecycle

What you’ll bring

  • Proficiency in SQL, Excel, Python for data transformation and reporting

  • Ability to manage stakeholder expectations in line with our delivery model
